Tom Gran & Martin Woolley are a BAFTA winning writer/director duo specialising in animation, who write high-concept comedy and love making stuff for both adult and younger audiences. They are currently working as head writers on their original 26 x 22′ animated action comedy series VANISHING POINT with BBC Studios, Watch Next Media and Kavaleer for CBBC and France Télévisions, set to be released later this year.
With over a decade of working together, Tom and Martin have worked on development projects with Disney, Nickelodeon International, Mondo Media, Frederator Studios and Gigglebug Entertainment. Most recently they have developed an original adult animated short with Blink Industries.
Tom & Martin started out being taken under the wing of Wildseed Studios and together developed and made pilots for adult animated web series RAJESH FINESS (starring Sanjeev Bhaskhar) and LONE WOLVES. They went on to create further episodes of LONE WOLVES, and develop their original kids series LOTTIE BEARSHOUT, which caught the attention of the Disney EMEA team. They then created, directed and wrote animated short LOTTIE BEARSHOUT ‘Good as Goaled’ with Wildseed for Disney XD for their soccer shorts celebrating the European Championships, which went on to win the Children’s Short Form BAFTA. LOTTIE was later developed as a TV Series with an international broadcaster.
