Kitson Press was established by Jean Kitson and Julie Press. Jean Kitson runs the Kids + Family division with Chris Rose acting as Creative and Partnerships Director, and Agent Katie Snaydon, assisted by Sanjyokta Deshmukh.
Jean Kitson
Jean Kitson leads Kitson Press and represents a busy list of kids’ media writers and directors, from the UK, Ireland and Europe. Jean regularly attends international markets and works with producers around the world. She has an MA from Oxford University and is an active member of the PMA Kids Committee.
Chris Rose
As the Creative and Partnerships Director, Chris shapes the agency’s creative strategy across children’s and family content. With over 25 years’ experience, he works closely with clients to develop ideas, build partnerships and open up new opportunities in the UK and internationally.
Katie Snaydon
Katie represents an eclectic list of screenwriters and directors across all genres, from emerging talent to showrunners. Katie joins Kitson Press after 10 years as an agent at Gemma Hirst Associates and has previously worked at United Agents. She holds an MA from Goldsmiths College and a BA from the University of Sussex.
Sanjyokta Deshmukh
Sanjyokta Deshmukh is the Agency Assistant. She has worked as an Assistant Script Editor for BBC Wales and has taken part in various industry talent schemes including Film London Connect, The Network and Soho Labs.
