Stephen is one of the co-creators of CBBC’s BAFTA-winning sketch series CLASS DISMISSED, and has written on all seasons. Other credits include HORRIBLE HISTORIES for Lion TV/CBBC, THE WONDERFULLY WEIRD WORLD OF GUMBALL (Hanna Barbera/Cartoon Network), ODDBODS for One Animation, live action sitcom TED’S TOP TEN for Zodiak Kids and CiTV, multiple episodes of THE HEROIC QUEST OF THE VALIANT PRINCE IVANDOE for Sun Creature Studios/Cartoon Network and more. He has recently written a development script on mega hit BLUEY for Ludo Studios and BBC Studios and is currently working as a comedy punch up writer on a major preschool series for Hasbro.Stephen recently wrote an episode of the UK’s most watched soap CORONATION STREET for ITV Studios, following successful completion of their Original Voices initiative. He has worked on development projects across film and TV for Threewise, developed an original animated series MONSTERS NEXT DOOR with Lion TV, co-created with his CLASS DISMISSED collaborators, and recently developed a new live action sitcom with Rollem Productions. His original animated family feature THE MONSTER HUNTER’S HANDBOOK is in active development with Kapers Animation.
Stephen has previously been shortlisted for the Alfred Bradley Bursary Award with BBC Radio Drama North, and undertook a three month development process with a mentor.
He is currently developing several new sitcom and feature film scripts for both live action and animation.
