
6+, 10+, Head Writer, Series Developer
A screenwriter with a background in children’s theatre, Sian has extensive experience writing for, and working with, children, teenagers and community groups. Her interests include comedy, science fiction / genre projects, multi-lingual and multi-cultural work, and queer stories for family audiences.
Sian was a committee member of Theatre for Young Audiences Ireland (2014-2016) and a founding member of Super Paua theatre company, which specialised in socially-engaged performance in community settings. She is an Arts Council Peer Panellist for Young People, Community and Education division. Sian has been awarded a number of residencies and awards for her work, including the Draíocht Residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris (2019).
