Shannon is a Writer/Story Editor/Creative Producer/Show Runner living in Dublin, Ireland.
Shannon started her animation career as a Production Assistant for Gracie Films in Los Angeles, where she worked on animated projects that included The Simpsons and The Critic. She worked for Nickelodeon Studios Florida on several live action productions before joining their New York animation studio as Associate Producer and then Producer on the hit series, Blue’s Clues.
Shannon has been Show Runner/Creative Producer for broadcasters that include Amazon, NBC Universal and Disney, and has written or head-written for Disney, Cartoon Network, BBC and Sky Kids, amongst others. She has received two Emmy nominations; one as Producer on Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues and one as Consulting Producer on Amazon’s The Stinky & Dirty Show. Shannon co-created Goat Girl with Kristina Yee, a 6+ comedy which is in production for Cartoon Network.
