Pre-School, 6+, Series Developer
James is a writer, developer, and creator for kids TV with plenty of experience writing for preschool and bridge audiences, and a skill for telling stories full of energy, charm, and visual comedy. He has worked with CBeebies, Disney, Warner, Magic Light Pictures, WildBrain Spark, Superprod and more, and has several original projects in active development with UK production companies.
James loves working with independent producers and studios, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to craft exciting, engaging stories. As a lead / head writer on projects he’s happy steering the creative direction of ideas throughout development and pitching to commissioners.
He’s now expanding into writing for 8+, Tween and Family audiences, and has created a new action-adventure series for 8-12s, as well as experience script editing and consulting on feature films, audio projects, podcasts and more.
