6+, 10+, Series Developer

Ever since running away from a career as a barrister, George has written for a wide range of programmes, covering everything from Radio 4’s News Quiz and Radio 3’s Saturday Play to the BAFTA-winning Double Take, Emmy-winning Smack the Pony and multi-garlanded national favourites like Horrible Histories. He has written and script-edited many children’s shows, including the International Emmy Kids winner, Hank Zipzer, and Venice TV Awards winner, Goldie’s Oldies. George was Story Editor and wrote 10 episodes across two series of the major fantasy-adventure, Theodosia for HBO Max, which won 1st Prize in Best Live-Action Television (Children’s Jury Awards) at the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival 2022. In addition, George has worked as writer and narrative designer on several videogames, from indie to AAA projects.
