Pre-School, 6+, Film, Head Writer, Series Developer, Show Runner

Sara Daddy is a deeply experienced writer for children’s programmes, both live-action and animation. She is in demand as a highly organised and efficient Head Writer, working on series for many broadcasters including Disney, BBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Milkshake and RTE.

Known for her character driven stories, filled with warmth and humour, she has collaborated with many companies, helping to take series from pitch to screen, especially series based on well-known books and existing IP.

Recently Sara has been concentrating on specials and features, writing the multi-award winning special about grief, Sol, and the critically acclaimed Puffin Rock and the New Friends, a movie based on the beloved Emmy-nominated series. She has recently scripted an animated feature length film for Lupus, which is due for release at Christmas 2024.
