Thom is a writer of comedy, drama and features, as well as a script-reader and editor.
Thom is a previous BAFTA/Rocliffe New Writing winner, and was part of the BBC Writersroom’s Comedy Room 2020/21 cohort. He co-wrote BBC4’s ASYLUM, starring Ben Miller, Kayvan Novak and Dustin Demri-Burns, for 2LE Media, as well as writing on BBC3’s FRIED (Bwark/Two Brothers Pictures).
He has worked to develop and write projects for a range of companies, including Princess Productions, Bwark, Eleven Film, Two Brothers Pictures, King Bert, BBC Comedy, Studio 71 and Hartswood Films. He was previously part of the BBC Writersroom’s Comedy Room writer development group for 2020/21. He has recently developed multiple original comedies with Fudge Park Productions, a YA drama series and a sitcom with LA Productions, a family comedy drama with Lime Pictures and a horror/action series with Greenacre Films. He has also recently developed two original adult animated comedy series with US animation studio Titmouse Inc.
Animation credits include lead writer on DC’s BEAST BOY: LONE WOLF and multiple episodes of THE HEROIC QUEST OF THE VALIANT PRINCE IVANDOE and FOSTERS FUNTIME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS, all for Hanna Barbera Studios Europe and Cartoon Network.
He is currently lead writer on a major reboot of a live action teen mystery series for Studio 100 and Nickelodeon.
He lives in a flat in south-east London with his wife (and an uninvited mouse who REFUSES TO LEAVE).
