Madeleine Perham is a gleefully whimsical, neurodiverse stage and screen writer currently developing a TV adaptation of her stage show Girl Guides vs Aliens (working title) which has been greenlit by CBBC for 2025 production. She tells ‘pick-me-up’ stories – tales that make the audience feel bold, brave and ready for whatever’s next in their day.

Her writing’s been called “nostalgic but kickass” (Broadway Baby) and “one of the most enjoyable hours at the [Edinburgh] festival” (ThreeWeeks) with “doses of dark humour” (Must See, Fringe Review), and Lauren Child, creator of CHARLIE & LOLA, hailed Madeleine as ‘Brilliant!’ She has been selected for development schemes by BAFTA, former Shakespeare’s Globe AD Emma Rice, and the award-winning North Wall Theatre in Oxford.
